Natalie sporting her grass skirt and lei she got in Maui this winter and her new swim suit. Such a cute girl. We are glad for a sunny day as it's been rainy the past two days. Babies are napping and we filled up the little pool and are enjoying us some sunshine:)

Two different filters on these pictures. What do you think? Vintage or vibrant? I like them both.

Memorial Day
Ryan and Nathan got up early and put out flags with the scouts. Then we met Grandma and Grandpa Wagstaff at the Holladay Cemetary. There was a nice program with bagpipes and some dancing. The kids enjoyed it. Then we visited several Wagstaff relative's graves. We also saw where Grandma and Grandpa Wagstaff are going to be buried.

It was a nice Memorial Day. A good chance to teach our kids about their relatives and a little about death and our freedom. After our grave visits we went to Hires for lunch. Ryan hung our kitchen light and the light in our entry way. Both look amazing I love them. I'll post those pictures tomorrow. Beautiful day!

Night at the Giffords
Marisa and Isaac were kind enough to invite us over for dinner with the Kurz'. They have a beautiful home near the avenues. Our kids especially loved their turtle and Jackie's dog Willow. They had such a nice backyard and the weather was perfect.
Trouble?
I put the boys in their room while I got in the shower. They get into everything so I figured it was the safest place for them for a little while. Well this is where I found Mike when I came to let them out. Like one crazy climber wasn't enough!
It's memorial weekend
Yesterday we cleaned out and filled up the wading pool. It was 81degrees and sunny. But we had just enough wind that it wasn't too hot. We got some projects done around the house. Then we had the Homers over for a BBQ. Our kids play so well together. The weather is so perfect this time of year. It will be too hot soon enough. I am loving spring!!
Last day of preschool
Natalie had a program with all the kids that go to Ms LaDawn's preschool. It was impressive especially the kindergarteners. She had them play Are you smarter than a kindergartener. I'm pretty sure they would have beat Nathan. They knew their times tables. They were spelling pretty hard words. They knew the seven contents and oceans. It was pretty sweet.

Dani's day
Well the day started off quite rainy. Nathan had a nine o'clock game. I got all the kids up and ready to leave before 8:00. We were just about to the fields when I got word the game was canceled. Since we were already dressed and ready for the day we decided to go to breakfast. The vote was for McDonalds. We went to the one by the district. Very impressive cool play area. This is a music area. The slide actually makes piano sounds as you slide down. The kids loved it. I even let the twins play for the first time.
After doing some cleaning I went to the salt lake temple to see Dani get married. It was a great ceremony and she looked beautiful. I was so glad to get to share this day with her and her family.
This is a photo of the temple as I was leaving the parking garage.
Here's Natalie and Kira after the festivities. They were so cute tonight.

Big catch
Natalie got to spend the afternoon with grandma Wagstaff yesterday. Besides going to the salon and getting her hair done, she got to go to Scheels and take this fun picture, ride the carousel and get new flip flops. One lucky girl.
Mornings
Most mornings now when I go to get the boys out of bed Matthew is down to just his onsie. Yesterday our AC went out so I just put them to bed in their onsies and pajama shorts. This morning I go in and Matt is wearing his shorts as a shrug. Total goofball.

Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day. My kids went shopping with Ryan Saturday and he let them pick out whatever they wanted. They each got me flowers and wrote cards and got my favorite treat. Then after church which was great we went to my in laws to celebrate Mother's Day and birthdays. The weather was perfect and we got to be outside. We had chocolate cake and ice cream. The only thing that would have made it better was to have my mom here. It was the first time since they left that I really missed them. But I got to Skype Friday and Monday which is pretty great.

Saturday I woke at at 5:00 to run my 10 miles. I did it but I don't know if I want to ever run that far again. We'll see what happens this week. I'm supposed to run 11 miles. I wasn't too sore but my toes hurt and I got a rug burn type thing from my sports bra. Yeah, if you want to know it, hurts. Although today it's much better.
These are the flowers my kids got

On the Porch
Since the boys like to be outside so much I spend a lot of time sitting on this porch. In fact it is from this porch that I post most of my posts. Mike is currently pushing Matt in the pink car. It's better than the other way around since Matt knows how to lift his feet. Mike doesn't yet. Here's a link to a video demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ-4Ljj4ICs
They are such good friends. But as I was typing that Mike switched Matt places and backed over him, giving Matt a fat lip. That makes five fat lips in a week between all my kids. Nathan slid into home plate last night and the catcher nailed him in the mouth with his glove. Poor kid. He had just gotten his braces tightened before the game too. And to make it worse he got out. But he seems to be fine today. Mike fell into the cement steps yesterday. His lip bled for quite awhile. It's nice and fat this morning. A day or two ago Natalie was helping me clean the bathroom and jumping up and down knocked her mouth on the counter causing her to bite her tongue. So we have been chewing on start ice cubes a lot at our house.

Game Ball
Nathan's team played the best I've seen this season. They lost 2-1 but it was obviously close and within reach the whole game. Nathan play really well. He played third base. He got an amazing out. He fielded a hit and three the kid out on first. He didn't get a hit tonight but got walked twice. Not for just sitting there but not swinging at the bad pitches. It was a fun game to watch and I think his confidence was boosted. Then to top it off the coach gave him the team ball. Great night! Way to go Nathan!!

Sunday
So today was a typical Sunday. We have church at 9:00. Getting four kids fed and dressed by 9:00 is always interesting but we do it. Ryan got up to help the deacons pass the sacrament and I about died. Thinking "you do realize you just left me with two almost two year olds what am I going to do if both need to go out or if one needs to go out for that matter?" That was a long fifteen minutes but they both did pretty well. They both were good enough to stay in sacrament meeting the whole time today. So maybe that wasn't a typical Sunday. We came home and got lunch ready as fast as we could because it is surprising how hungry my kids are after church. That and the twins are so tired and ready for a nap. Have I mentioned how grumpy we are when we are both tired and hungry. I say we because my kids and I can't handle it. I'm sure they get it from me.
No couch covering for me this weekend. My grand idea to use drop cloths didn't work. Even bleaching the heck out of them like Pinterest said left them too pinkish for my room. So I'm going to have to go with plan b. Buy more expensive fabric. We'll see what I can get done this week. I did get my & mile run in before heading to the stake center yesterday. We spent a couple hours at the ball field. Nathan got to pitch an inning and didn't do too bad. It was a developmental game and I think it gave him some confidence. He plays catcher about half of each game and is doing better with that too. The twins aren't liking the two hour games from their strollers but I keep them there so I know where they are. We'll see how long I can keep that up. At one point Natalie had to go potty and Ryan works the dugout so I asked one of the grandpas Ryan knows to keep an eye on the twins. Not to let anyone steal them. Natalie says no one will steal them. To which I say I don't know they are pretty cute. Natalie says "if some did steal them they'd bring them back as soon as they were naughty" funny girl.
When I picked the kids up at the child center at my gym Matthew pulled both ears and stuck out his tongue. It was pretty cute. I tried to get a picture but this was the best one I got.

Play Kitchen
The boys love to play down in the play room. Today they are mostly interested in playing kitchen. Another favorite and I don't have a picture is Natalie's doll stroller. Sometime they push around a doll or nothing at all. But lately Mike has been pushing around a baseball. I can just imagine his thought process. Natalie loves dolls so she pushes them around. Well I love balls so I'll push them. Natalie got invited to a friends birthday. She is so excited to go. Everything she says is in relation to that party. It was on her mind the first thing this morning. I'll have to post about it once she goes. Nathan had a baseball game last night. I decided not to go. It didn't start until 7:30 and it was so cold. I decided to put the boys to bed instead. But I heard it was a good game. We haven't had too many of those this year. But he is playing pretty well especially considering he's by far the youngest on the team. Life is good. I've been watching you tube videos on making slip covers for our couches. I'm going to tackle that one this weekend. Or at least start. I've got an 8 mile run to do Saturday and Stake baptisms and a baseball game but that should all be done by one or so.
