Sunday Bubbles

IThe kids had a blast playing with bubbles tonight. These had latex in them and lasted lots longer than traditional bubbles. Nathan was pretty good at catching them.

Than Natalie wanted some chubby pictures taken.

Funny little girl. She's been asking to learn how to ride a bike with no training wheels. I thought she should learn on a smaller bike. Ryan's mom had one from Nathan we brought it home. I can't tell you how excited she is to practice.

Breakfast

The twins are getting so big. They have been eating at the counter for a couple weeks now. I think it's time to get rid of their high chairs. Here are the kids eating breakfast.

Shave Ice

My friend Kim told me able this place here in Riverton that has the best shave ice since Breakwall. I took the big kids tonight. Nothing better when it's 100 degrees.

Rodeo

We went to the Riverton rodeo last night. It was a lot of fun. Paige came with us and took the youngest three home after about an hour. This is the last rodeo in the old arena. They are redoing just about everything beginning this Sep. it's supposed to be ready in time for next years rodeo. Natalie got to participate in the money grab for the first time this year. Too bad her shoes hurt her so bad she could hardly walk let alone run.

First Trip to the Zoo this year

We got another annual pass to the zoo so hopefully we'll be going lots! Got most of the classic Hogel Zoo shots. We had fun having Rhett and Paige there. And Grandma Wagstaff too for a bit.

Arts Festival Part II

We went to the festival as a family Friday night. We had dinner, played on the sand, wrote on the wall, jumped in the bounce house, got balloons and funnel cake. Fun times.

Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day. After church we went to the Wagstaff's and had a nice dinner and enjoyed being outside.

The twins sang I'm so Glad when Daddy Comes Home in sacrament. Well they stood on a bench in front of the moms and did the actions while we sang the song. It was so cute. Mike did all the actions. Matt mostly just stared at everyone until a great big kiss. Then in nursery they made these for their dad. Such great nursery leaders.

My Dad

Well I didn't get a package off to my dad for Father's Day although I did manage to mail a card. Hopefully it gets there in time. I thought I'd devote an entry to the best dad on the planet. I am about the luckiest girl I know. I have an amazing dad.

Right now he is serving a two year mission with my mom in the Rome, Italy mission. They are in a city called Battipaglia, which is south of Rome. My dad speaks Italian because many years ago he served his first mission in the Rome, Italy mission. He was one of the first missionaries to teach the gospel in Rome in this dispensation. Pretty cool right? He is currently the branch president there in Battipaglia. From what I hear he is doing an amazing job and I am so proud of him. I do miss him terribly though.

I've been looking through some pictures I have and thought I'd post a few or more than a few.

This is my parent's wedding picture. They were married in December of 1972.
Here is my dad carrying me on his shoulders when I was young. I'd say two years old. I have no idea where we are. Looks to me like WY but I don't know.
This is a picture of my dad and I and my dad's brother Marlowe. I'm almost certain this picture was taken in Afton WY. I'm probably about 8 years old. I think this trip we went fishing and four wheeling.

This picture was taken at a daddy daughter activity in CA. I'm thinking LaCanada but I'm not certain. I think this was the daddy daughter date where we were asked questions and our dads were asked questions and we tried to respond the way we thought our dads would. Kind of like the newly wed show but the daddy daughter show instead. I remember one of the questions was "What does your daughter like to wear?" My answer was "Clothes" I really thought that is what my dad would say. He's kind of a smart alik sometimes. He said "The dress she got in Mexico" which was probably true and what I would have said had I responded with the actual answer.

This is a picture taken right in front of the Raleigh, NC airport as I'm leaving for Hawaii to go to school. Christy, Tommy, and Jonathan are in the picture as well. My dad really let me attend college in Hawaii for three semesters. Luckiest girl alive I assure you.

This picture was taken in the SLC airport as I was about to board a plane to Austria for a year and a half to serve a mission in the Vienna Austria mission.

Here is a picture at BYU after my graduation.

This is a picture in front of the Salt Lake temple right after Ryan and I were married.

This is a picture of my dad making the turkey for Thanksgiving at my house. He makes the worlds best turkey and gravey.
This is a picture of my mom and dad with Christy and Jon in Germany. Not sure why it's among my pictures.
Here is a picture of my dad reading to Jon. I'd say Jon is eight in this picture. Just another example of what a great dad I have.

I love this picture of my mom and dad. It was taken in Afton, WY probably in 2002 next to the old furniture store.
This is a picture of my dad in Germany I think. It is a magical picture to me.
Here is a picture of our family as of August 2008 at Dan and Kylie's wedding reception.
This is a picture of my parents just before they left for Italy. It was taken in Big Piney WY outside the office/garage.

Here is our family as of Oct 2012. We all gathered in Big Piney for Pampa's 95th birthday. It was a great trip and fun filled weekend.
Here is Pampa and Noni Rae's entire posterity minus Dan and Kyli's family.
While I'm sad not to see my dad on this Father's Day I am so glad he is in Italy serving The Lord. I can't think of a better place for him to be. I hope you know how amazing I think you are. I love you so much. Happy Father's Day!!
