The Riverton Arts Festival started this morning at 6:00 am. My friends Kim and Heather were taking their kids over for the opening ceremonies and offered to take Nathan and Natalie since I has to go into work today. Heather and her boys rode over and then drove our golf cart to the park by our house. Fox 13 news was there and the kids got their faces painted.

Natalie's Swim Lessons
I signed Natalie up for swim lessons this week. Today is day three. Its $30 for five days 45 minutes each class. She is the only one in her class. So she gets a private swim lesson each day. She loves it and is learning lots. I'll try to get a video today since I don't have the boys with me. They were asleep so I left them home with Nathan. Natalie and I even got to ride the golf car over.
Last Game of the Season
They ended the season with their first and only win. It was a great game. Nathan played really well. He got hit with a pitch. Then hit a double then a single. He got on base each time. I had Carrie come over to babysit so I could enjoy the game. It was another late one so it was definitely a good idea.

Last Day of Second Grade
I got to go into Nathan's class to give Miss Hoppes the gift from her class that I put together. It was a homemade notepad with 110 things her students love about her and will miss every other page has a one dollar bill she can tear out and use. It turned out really cute and she loved it. The kids said some of the cutest things.
Nathan has had a great year. He already misses Miss Hoppes and its only been two days. But we are looking forward to a fun summer.

The First Week of Gymnastics
This little girl wants to be a gymnast. We started lessons this week. Monday and Wednesday mornings. She has the will.
Here is her arch after two classes. It's already a thousand times better than Monday.

Baseball Game
Today the Bees played an afternoon game. Ryan wanted to take his grandpa to a game. He usually goes to bed pretty early and hasn't been to a game since Ryan was a little kid. Before they updated the stadium. Since one of the reasons we haven't gone as a family is that the twins go to bed at 7:00 I thought we'd all go. Ryan talked with his parents who had a connection and got some perfect seats behind home plate. Perfect but a little hot. We moved back into the shade in the seventh inning and it was much cooler. The kids did pretty well all things considered. They all got pretty sticky and very dirty crawling on the ground for various reasons. Grandma Wagstaff got hit in the head by a fly ball. It rica shade off the roof and hit her as she was ducking from the ball. She'll probably have a nice bump there. The EMTs came over and gave her some ice. Glad it wasn't worse but ouch! I drove her car to work and she drove the kids up in my minivan so I didn't have to drive all the way home after work. Ryan picked up grandpa Kurz and grandpa Wagstaff came a little late on his own. They bees lost 0-7 but it was a fun game anyway.
I guess this is how Riverton wears their rally cap.

Sunday blessing
We got to attend Dustin and Laura's baby girl's blessing today. After we had a yummy lunch at their house. This is a picture of our family plus Ellois. It was a warm sunny day. Four hours of church was a little much for my kids but they made it and still had plenty of time to relax at home when it was over.
