We love Emily! She is amazingly fast and so good at hitting a moving target. These boys wiggle. But both were big boys and sat on the booster seat.

Sunday
Man I love these kids. Nathan and Natalie helping Matthew and Michael cross the parking lot. So cute.
Family Pictures
Here is the only one I have so far. It was a rough day to get everyone looking at the camera. But this one turned out pretty good.

Matt's Latest Injury
First time he was able to go in the big kid section at the gym and look what happens. He's fine though. No stitches. Today it was his tongue when he fell off his stool. This kid always has a cut or bruise somewhere.

Demolition Derby
Wow! How many months in the making was tonight? Three, four, five maybe more. Ryan and many others put in lots of hours getting troop 1202s car ready. Tonight it happened. Riley did a great job driving and I think everyone but Michael enjoyed watching. Michael was so scared and sad when the crashing started. We got a little rain but nothing too bad and the thunder stayed away until it was over. Fun times.
Before
4th of July
We had a great fourth. We started off at the park for breakfast with the mayor. The twins enjoyed playing on these water jugs. Nathan and Natalie got to go over and watch the ATV rodeo. I came home and got stuff ready for our BBQ. Paul and Sarah's family came over early and we took the big kids over to the park for the hay hunt. They rope off a section and fill it with candy, toys, and some money among lots of hay and then have various age groups in to retrieve all they can. Like a huge piƱata exploded. The kids had fun doing that. Then we had our BBQ. We ended up with about 50 people. Most stayed and played and then watched the fireworks. I let Michael and Matthew stay up too and they liked the fireworks. They weren't scared just a little tired and restless. I love the Fourth of July. It is one of my favorite holidays. I feel so blessed to live in this country. I am thankful for those that give up and have given up so much to allow me that freedom. Ryan puts together a cd to play each year and I love listening to that music while we watch the fireworks. It gives me a chance to reflect on how much I love this country. God bless the USA!

Twin's Second Birthday
It's Michael and Matthew's second birthday. I really can't believe it. Two years has gone so fast. Here is what I wrote in Matthew's card: Happy Birthday!
We tried to get the boys to nap today with no luck. We spent some more time in the front yard on their new toys and playing baseball. We faced timed with both grandmas and Emily too. Then we met Ryan at Chick Filet for dinner followed by a quick stop at 31 flavors. Where I got the clown ice cream cones I remembered getting as a kid. Natalie was disappointed at first when I didn't come back with all 31 flavors but all the kids loved my childhood favorite.
Michael and Matthew probably won't remember much from today but I got some great pictures and we had a lot of fun!
I can't believe you are already two years old. What a fun year we've had! You have grown up so much. You are done with your high chair, you're talking, you know all your animal sounds. I couldn't imagine all you would learn in just two years. You are so busy and keep us all on our toes. I love pitching to you in the front room and watching you connect time and time again. You are such a joy. I am so glad you are part of our family. I love you! This is what I wrote in Michael's birthday card: Dear Michael, Happy Birthday! I hope you always like snuggling with me. I love the way you say "nugo" and bring your blanket over to me and then just sit with me. I love how well you listen and try to get Matt to listen too, unless of coarse you really don't want to. Then I'm out of luck. You have surprised me with how well you can climb now. You are so sneaky watching the neighborhood while you're supposed to be sleeping. You are growing so fast. I hope you know I love you to pieces. I am certain we will have another wonderful year. Happy Birthday! The boys woke up long before the big kids. Finally at eight I let them wake them up.
Following this round of colored dye we headed over to the carnival for dollar day. Each ride costs a buck. We bought 20 tickets and let the kids each choose five rides. It was hot and by the end the boys were so tired but they had a blast.
